Many good looking reviews. I´ve added it to my wishlist. ;-)

My personal experience:

Treat assholes with less emotion as possible.
Do your work that way co workers see you are good at what you´re doing and everything will be fine.

Bring forward good arguments in meetings or discussions and don´t let them catch your emotions.

Maybe that´s basics but it will hold back most types of assholes.
