The best thing to tell people that drive like maniacs is not that they need to improve their driving skills but that they cannot control everything on the road and there are many other maniacs..

I'd love to see a study that examined this bias across an organization. For example. what percentage of managers believe they are above average in hiring, in motivating, in running team meetings, etc.

Huh? A tailgate a day can add up (and a single driver can tailgate many people in a given commute). 11% tailgating can result in far more than one tailgate incident per month for every driver...
